The Calibration Process
Once you have selected the calibration parameters and installed the software the calibration process is fairly simple. You need to setup your editing environment so that you don't have too much ambient light falling on the monitor screen. Some calibration systems measure the ambient light and take it into account during the calibration. Start the calibration software and follow the on-screen instructions.
It is best to turn on your monitor at least 30 minutes before you are going to do the calibration to ensure it it is warmed up and stable. Check the room lighting to make sure that the room light is not falling directly on the display.
